 About Nancy

As a Certified Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner and A CPF certified trainer, national level figure competitor and former world-class Professional Salsa Dancer, I have been an athlete
 for as long as I can recall.



Having worked as a personal trainer for over three decades, I’ve coached thousands of people to achieve optimal health and fitness. from gym novices to professional fitness competitors, my main passion and specialty is helping women build confidence and feel attractive no matter their age or body type.

From the young age of 6 I started gymnastics, from here grew my passion for dance where I trained in jazz, ballet and hip hop gracing various stages with my passionate energy.  In my teens and early 20s I learned the love of lifting weights and used the gym to keep fit for dancing, doing dance videos and I even had the opportunity to audition for one of Madonna’s World tours. (I still can’t believe it). Then it happened, I caught the ‘Salsa bug’ and immediately cultivated my passions by training in Latin Ballroom and Salsa!

See for me I always kept fit doing an activity I loved which didn’t feel like ‘work”. …and that was my passion for Salsa Dancing. I found my niche and immediately auditioned for one of the most well renowned Toronto Latin dance companies…. STRICKLY SALSA…  I was so honoured as our dance team was the first to represent Canada at the World Salsa Congress in in Puerto Rico.

Because of my energy and passion, I was in the gym one day when a trainer suggested I train and compete in fitness competitions given my background in dance and gymnastics. If fact he challenged me, and this is where my competitive fitness career started leading to almost 20 years in the industry. I have graced several magazines including Oxygen, Muscle & Fitness Hers, and Optimyze and use to my infectious personality to host media events including The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Weekend. ..and yes my most memorable is interviewing Arnold!

Now as a Certified Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner and Personal Trainer my focus is on helping women get fit, lose weight, and feel confident no matter their age.
